Gabriel replied, 'Muhammad.' It was asked, 'Has he been called?' Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said, 'He is welcome. What an excellent visit his is!' Then I met Idris and greeted him, and he greeted me and said, 'Welcome, O pious brother and pious Prophet.'"
This Hadith suggests that during the Isra and Mi'raj (the Night Journey and Ascension), Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) met Idris in the second heaven, affirming Idris's honored status.
