You are driving an old
You are driving an old BMW and you break down, all you have is the limited tools in your boot, what to do? This video will show how you can get back on the road again in 5 minutes in some circumstances.
This has happened to me twice now in two different E31's - but the routine is the same for all the early V8's - E31, E32, E38 and E39 with the M60 or M62 V8 engine. Disconnecting the camshaft sensor can get you back on the road as the engine will still run without it (but use a bit more petrol).
