The Potentiometric Transducer is one of the earliest types of pressure sensors. In This Type of Pressure Transducer The measurement of pressure is done by converting the applied pressure into a displacement by elastic pressure elements like Bourdon Tube, bellows and Diaphragms. The displacement of elastic pressure element is transcended into electrical form through use of secondary transducers. The output of electrical transducers is a function of displacement, which in turn is a function of pressure.
