The process of cutting a
The process of cutting a piece of #Acacia #wood for making the #Oud bowl.
the #ribs are cutting from a 4cm width dense acacia (AKA #Koa wood) in 3mm thickness. usually I do making the #bowl with 15-17 ribs but it can be up to 21 piece.
I use a #bandsaw size 40 to cut the wood also using a very short teeth blade. adding an MDF flat surface attached to my bandsaw helping me cut the wood more precise.
after this I would sand the ribs and and arrange them to make bowl making process ready.
پروسه برش ترکه‌های کاسه ساز عود رو مشهاده می‌فرمایید. در این ویدیو من دارم یک تکه چوب آکاسیا به عرض چهار سانتی‌متر رو به ترکه‌هایی با ضخامت ۳ میلیمتر برش میدم. معمولا من کاسه ساز رو با ۱۵ تا ۱۷ ترک میسازم ولی تا ۲۱ ترک هم کاملا مرسوم هست.
برای بهتر کردن پروسه برش از یه صفحه و تکیه‌گاه ام‌دی‌اف کمک گرفتم که کار برش رو برام دقیقتر بکنه.
