It’s crunch time as we
It’s crunch time as we gear up for potato harvest, and there’s a mountain of tasks to tackle! First up, we’ve got to get our vine chopper fixed and perform some much-needed maintenance on the harvester. One of our trucks needs new axles, so we’re taking that in. We hit up an auction and came away with some exciting buys, plus our John Deere 9510 is finally back after getting a new engine.
On top of all that, we’re still moving last year’s potatoes out of the sellers and had to dig up and fix a broken waterline to the cellar. And to wrap it all up, we picked up the last of our new Spudnik equipment!
Somewhere in the chaos, I also managed to squeeze in a trip to a career fair—and we got hit with a wild thunderstorm that lit up the night sky. Join us for a whirlwind of preparations as we get ready for the big harvest!
