How much faster is a
How much faster is a world cup downhill racer vs amateur MTB rider? Watch me, an average rider, race the Scottish DH champion and UCI World Cup downhill rider.
We compare different lines and features while racing down the track. You'll see a bike check and hear some highlights from the man himself before both riders hit the trail. We picked an enduro mtb trail which is gravity focused and has lots of different sections. The timer is on and both Go Pro POV runs are shown with 4 splits. Both riders are on full suspension enduro mountain bikes.
You'll clearly see the difference in the speed through the whole track and the commitment on features, especially with George's background in downhill racing. George will be racing the UCI Downhill World Cups again in the upcoming 2022 season and the Scottish Downhill races so give him a follow. We have some great Scottish talent in the downhill scene with the likes of Reece Wilson and Ben Cathro also there.
