West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite says his team to take on England in the opening Test match at Lords is a 'young team but a decent one'.
The tourists have many inexperienced batters in the line-up including debutant Mikyle Louis, Kirk McKenzie, Kavem Hodge and Alick Athanaze.
Brathwaite's team had beaten Australia in Australia in the last Test match they played to square a two-Test series one-all.
Many believe the current West Indies team has the potential to do well in the longer format of the game, especially with the emergence of star bowling all-rounder Shamar Joseph.
However, the sobering stat for Brathwaite is that West Indies have not won a series in England since 1988 - the period when they dominated cricket.
The first of the three-Test series against England start at Lords on Wednesday.
