Among the 82 candidates for ward councillor in Hamilton this election are some community activists who've decided to seek office. They're hoping their experience will serve them well for campaigning and, if successful, in office - but making a transition from activism to politics can come with a specific set of challenges. Hamilton-Niagara Hub journalist Justin Chandler talked to some of these election hopefuls.
