EDS sufferers please visit us here and access your guide http://edspainrelief.com/PA. These exercise protocols have been designed for you or a loved that have been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). They are yours completely free.

My name is Kevin Muldowney and I am the owner of Muldowney Physical Therapy located in Cranston, RI.  My entire clinic is devoted to helping people with EDS achieve a better quality of life.

My exercise protocol will guide your physical therapist step by step on how to help you.  This way, you can receive high quality physical therapy care in your own town. Send me your email on my site here http://edspainrelief.com/PA and I will give you the first five exercises of my protocol for free so you can begin my protocol today with your physical therapist.

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is an inherited connective tissue disorder which affects collagen.  Collagen is the glue that supports many structures in the body such as skin, ligaments, muscles, organs and blood vessels.  Since people with EDS have problems with their collagen, their pain is not visible. To most people, you appear healthy!

Because of this, many people with EDS get ostracized from society, being called malingerers, symptom magnifiers and diagnosed with conversion disorder.  Some people are even sent to psychiatric hospitals because their doctors believe their pain is all in their head.  This is all because people with EDS do not look sick.

Once you are diagnosed with EDS, you become relieved and begin to believe that things will start to get better for you.  Now that you finally have this diagnosis, you will be able to get the help that you have been searching for.  Unfortunately, you quickly realize that this is not the case.  In fact, most healthcare professionals do not understand what EDS is or how to treat it.  Because of this, you end up bouncing from doctor to doctor with little answers or help for your many problems.

Eventually, you will feel a sense of hopelessness and begin to believe that no one understands your condition and can help you.  I am here to give you that sense of hope back so that you will be able to achieve a better quality of life.

Physical therapy is vital for decreasing your pain and increasing your overall function.  Unfortunately, like other healthcare professionals, not many physical therapists understand how to treat your unique issues.  Because of this, you may have gone to physical therapy in the past with no results or you may have even gotten injured while doing physical therapy exercises.  Because of this bad experience in physical therapy, you may have the idea that physical therapy cannot help you and your specific problems.

This cannot be further from the truth.

With the proper physical therapy, you can significantly decrease your pain and increase your quality of life.  This is why I decided to design a physical therapy protocol specifically for people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.  I developed this protocol because I believe you deserve a better life with less pain.

I have been treating people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome for ten years now.  I currently treat 40 to 50 people with EDS every week in my clinic.  With this volume of patients, I am very comfortable understanding how to effectively treat this population.

My protocol treats the entire body, incorporating manual therapy, patient education and gradual exercise progression.  My staff and I listen to all of your unique issues and address each of them one by one until you begin to feel better.  By the end of my protocol, my patients feel significantly better, have less pain and better overall function.  This gives them a much higher quality of life.
