MUSC: Gastroparesis

In this video, MUSC’s Dr. David Adams talks about gastroparesis, a serious digestive problem in which food moves through the stomach slower than normal often resulting in chronic nausea, vomiting and weight loss. One treatment option he discusses is Enterra Therapy, which involves implanting a device beneath the skin that sends mild electrical pulses to stimulate the nerves and muscles of the stomach.
