Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Nakulananda shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on how we can fulfill the highest purpose of life — to know the Divine within ourselves.
Paramahansa Yogananda said: “You will come to know that God is ever-existing, ever-conscious, ever-new Bliss (Sat-Chit-Ananda). And you will realize that to have that Bliss is the purpose of life, the goal of your existence.”
Brother Nakulananda reminds us that all of humanity is in a “school of life.” The lessons that life offers are meant to make us stronger, to build our spiritual muscles, and to help us learn compassion, humility, and other spiritual qualities — which, along with the practice of meditation, lead us ultimately to the highest fulfillment of union with the Divine.
This talk was recorded at the SRF temple in Encinitas, California, on November 28, 2021.
