Howto: easy sidechain in Reaper, using Waves RComp.
RComp has a dedicated “key input” for sidechaining.
Just like many other Compressor plugins nowadays.
In Reaper, you can then simply drag the routing icon from the track that must act as trigger, onto the plugin’s GUI, that has a key input.
Then after that, all routing is instantly done and the plugin will be “triggerd by the “trigger” Track.
Great for ducking music underscore abit by a vocal !
