Building a Natural Rock Fire Pit - Our Favorite Design for a Firepit

The old firepit was just a ring of rocks and had become full of ashes over the past few years. It was no longer safe and wasn't really nice to look at. We take apart the old firepit, find some rocks in the river and on the mountain, and put it all back together, bigger and more functional! The new firepit is aesthetically pleasing, safe, and funnels heat and smoke appropriately. We've looked at a lot of firepits in the area, and this is our favorite design.
