การแสดงโขน เรื่องรามเกียรติ์ ตอนสืบมรรคา

การแสดงเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวมหาวชิราลงกรณ บดินทรเทพยวรากูร เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 28 กรกฎาคม 2560

การแสดงโขน เรื่องรามเกียรติ์ ตอนสืบมรรคา นี้ เป็นบทพระราชนิพนธ์ในพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธเลิศหล้านภาลัย เนื้อเรื่องกล่าวถึง หลังจากที่นางสีดาถูกทศกัณฐ์ลักพาตัวไป พระราม พระลักษมณ์ ก็ได้ออกติดตาม จนทั้งสองพระองค์ได้มาพบสดายุปักษีก็ทราบความว่าทศกัณฐ์เป็นผู้ลักพานางสีดาไป พระราม พระลักษมณ์จึงออกติดตามมึงหน้าไปยังกรุงลงกาในทันที เมื่อมาถึงป่ากัทลีก็ทรงได้พบหนุมานและเมื่อได้ไพรพลวานรมาเป็นกองกำลังแล้ว พระรามจึงทรงบัญชาให้หนุมนาน องคต และชมพูพาน ออกสืบหานางสีดา พร้อมทั้งมอบธำมรงค์และผ้าสไบให้หนุมานนำไปมอบให้นางสีดาด้วย ทั้งสามจึงได้รับพระราชบัญชายกกองทัพมาจนถึงสระโบกขรณี อันเป็นดินแดนของทศกัณฐ์ ทั้งสามก็ได้พบกับปักหลั่น กุมภัณฑ์ผู้ถูกพระอินทร์สาปให้มาเฝ้าสระโบกขรณี ไม่ว่าสัตว์หรือผู้ใดที่เข้ามาในอาณาเขตก็ให้จับกินเป็นอาหาร วันนั้นได้ขึ้นมาจากสระและได้พบสามวานรที่นอนหลับ ก็หมายจะจับกิน จึงเกิดการต่อสู้กัน แต่ปักหลั่นสู้ไม่ได้ จึงขอยอมแพ้และได้เหล่าเรื่องที่ตนถูกสาปให้มาเฝ้าสระโบกขรณีให้สามวานรฟัง องคตจึงซักถามถึงหนทางที่จะไปกรุงลงกา เมื่อทราบความแล้วก็ได้ช่วยให้ปักหลั่นพ้นจากคำสาปกลับไปเป็นเทวดาบนสวรรค์ดังเดิม ทั้งสามจึงยกทัพเดินทางมายังกรุงลงกาต่อ จนมาถึงเมืองเมืองหนึ่งเป็นเมืองร้างไม่มีผู้คน หนุมานจึงให้หยุดทัพและได้ออกสำรวจ จนได้มาพบนางบุษมาลีนั่งอยู่ในปราสาทตามลำพัง ก็ได้เขาสอบถามจนทราบว่านางเป็นางฟ้าที่ถูกสาปให้คอยบอกหนทางไปกรุงลงกาแก่หนุมานทหารพระรามาวตารและจะพ้นคำสาปหากหนุมานขว้างตนกลับไปยังสวรรค์ หนุมานจึงแสดงตนหาวเป็นดาวเดือนและเข้าเกี้ยวพาจนได้นางบุษมาลีเป็นภรรยา นางบุษมาจึงได้บอกเหล่าหนทางที่จะไปกรุงลงกาแก่หนุมานและได้อ้อนวอนขอให้หนุมานส่งตนกลับไปยังสวรรค์ หนุมานจึงหักอาลัยขว้างนางบุษมาลีกลับไปยังสวรรค์ตามเดิม ทั้งสามจึงได้ยกกองทัพออกเดินทางต่อมาถึงเขาเหมติรัน จนมาพบนกสัมพาทีผู้เป็นพี่ชายของสดายุราชปักษี ซึ่งถูกพระสุริยเทพสาปให้ขนหลุดลุ่ยไปทั้งตัว ต่อจนเมื่อทหารของพระรามโห่สามลาจึงจะกลับเป็นดังเดิม ทั้งสามจึงช่วยให้สำพาทีพ้นจากคำสาป หนุมานจึงให้หยุดกองทัพไว้ยังที่นั่นและได้ให้สัมพาทีพาบินไปยังกรุงลงกา

After Sita was kidnapped by Tosakanth, Rama and Lakshman know the identity of Sita's abductors from Sadayu. Wandering through the forest they come eventually to a grove there they meet Hanuman who introduces Sukhrip, his uncle, to Rama and they all become Rama's soldier. Rama has ordered Hanuman, Ongkot, and Chomphuphan to lead the troops of monkeys to find Sita. He also sends her the ring and her breast cloth as proof. Hanuman, Ongkot, and Chomphuphan have left Khanthamart Mountain where Rama is mustering the army, to leave for Bokkoranee pond in the land of Tosakanth. Paklan who has been condemned by Indra to serve a term as a demon watchman of the pond is allowed to catch animals or any intruders and eat them. That day he comes to the surface of the pond and sees the three sleeping monkeys. Upon seeing Ongkot, Paklan starts the attack and plans to eat him. Ongkot resists and a fight breaks out. Then Paklan decides to give up, throws himself at Ongkot's feet and explains about his banishment. Ongkot asks Paklan for the way to Langka. Upon receiving directions, Ongkot performs the appropriate ceremony, now Paklan is free to return to heaven. Hanuman sends Pusamalee who is under banishment back to heaven. Pusamalee, the condemned angel is begging Hanuman to help release her from banishment by casting her up into the air to heaven. Drawing from sorrow at losing her, Hanuman pulls himself back together and goes on to fulfill his promise to her. The three great monkeys meet Samphati who is the brother of the great bird Sadayu. Samphati also tells the great three about how he has been cursed by Surya, the Sun God, losing all his feathers. After three rounds of yelling from the knights of Rama, at once the bird's splendid plumage is restored and the great bird is freed. Hanuman riding on his back, Samphati swirls up high in the sky in the direction of Langka.
