In a way this attempt is a tribute to the wonderful story brought onto the screen in 1953, which gripped my heart by both its apparent simplicity and deep underlying complexity.
Though this karaoke was somehow labelled as Jimmy Durante's version, I hope it still characterises the film (though it is not exactly the tune used in the movie).
