So we became tourists for
So we became tourists for a weekend but this time we've come prepared (as we can be) in a motorhome with a nice space for (muddy) dogs and a bed for the kids and us out of the way. This is a big vehicle but you can drive it on a normal car licence in the UK and it means we can get plenty of family adventures in while the kids are itsy bitsy. We've always struggled to find accommodation with the dogs, especially when there were 3! You had to hide one haha. Even so people say the accommodation is pet friendly but then they say small dogs only after they see ours, so sizeist. We decided what better way than travel in your home. Don't get me wrong, its a little bit smaller than our house but it's lovely. We've had campervans for a while getting bigger as the family did, then tents and now motorhome before maybe a caravan later years on. This is very tall and long so it restricts where you can go and park but when you get somewhere eventually it's great to have the big beds already made and out of the way. The kids love it and want to sleep in it on the drive!! Teddy isn't too fond of his dedicated rear lounge area and so likes to ride up front between the two front seats, he looks pretty cool there! So we visited a place near Belfast called Gosford forest park before seeing friends and then heading to Manchester to family then onto Wales for a holiday so it was a big first outing! Hopefully we will get some more of a video tour in the next one!
