I made a Hall Table
I made a Hall Table with a hidden drawer as my first attempt at secret compartment furniture.
Imagine what treasures you could hide away in this secret drawer and the surprise on friends faces when it springs open at the press of a concealed button.
I spent hours lying awake at night designing the secret latch mechanism which was the hardest part, but it worked out and the spring loaded concealed drawer is fantastic.
In my previous video I made the Red Cedar Hall Table with intricate Huon Pine inlays in the drawer front.
Table Build Video - Huon Pine Inlaid Table
The table and drawer build was a marathon 6 weeks over a two month period.
The table is 600mm wide and 420mm deep and 840 high.
