Why do you want this little box? Well, it let's you watch Youtube videos on Directv. The quality is descent. Nobody at Direct TV could tell me how to hook up.
After spending about three hours on the phone and four hours on the web, I decided to try to hook up the box directly to the splitter as shown in the video. It worked on the first try. Bottom line, it was a challenge I could not find the answer.
Basically, the little black box plugs into one of the outputs on the splitter. You may have to power down your router and power back up.
