Standing at 301-feet, the Windseeker
Standing at 301-feet, the Windseeker debuted at Carowinds in 2012.
Windseeker is the second tallest ride at Carowinds, only behind the world's tallest and fastest giga coaster Fury 325. The three-minute ride features 32 two passenger swings that slowly rotate as it climps to the top of the 301-foot tower. With speeds up to 30 mph and arms extended outward to a 45-degree angle, riders experience a sense of weightlessness.
Once atop the Windseeker, you'll be treated with an astonishing panoramic view of the park and the greater Charlotte region - including the skyline of Uptown Charlotte.
At night, Windseeker really starts to show off with an elaborate LED lighting system. Aside from the LED spotlights that are located at the top and bottom, the swings and arms of the ride put on a magical show with colorful patterns and shapes - similar to a kaleidoscope.
