Alright girls and boys! Today's lesson is all about phlebotomy! Becoming familiar with the tools and medical terminology related to this skill will help you overcome your fear of it! So sit back and prepare to absorbbbb!
The equipment that will be explained/used in this video are:
laboratory specimen bag
butterfly
vacutainer
alcohol swabs
gauze
tourniquet
band-aids
tubes
We'll also be covering:
sharps
my preferred method of setting up for the venipuncture
order of draw
