One of the hardest-hit cities in #Syria during the conflict was #Aleppo. It made headlines for the sheer amount of devastation there. Imagine 22,000 buildings destroyed. While I was there, I met Zuha — someone who loves her city and remains there.

Zuha once received humanitarian aid from the World Food Programme. Today, she works for that UN organization, and I am WFP Goodwill Ambassador. She showed me around this ancient city which has been continuously inhabited since the sixth millennium BC — making it one of the oldest cities in the world. Come with us!
