Single mom faces financial difficulties | "Touch" - Short film by Noel Harris

Paul, 35, single, from a family of generational poverty, is way short on the money he owes.  His sister, Connie, desperate for a sitter, and herself way short on rent money, asks Paul to come to her trailer to overnight babysit, Emilie (6) and Benjamin (4). He quickly downs a beer from the fridge. Emilie watches her uncle from the crack of her bedroom door. She sees him thumb through the envelope containing her Mom’s rent money.  Did Connie make the right choice for a caregiver? Morning brings more than a few surprises.
