This video was filmed at an estate sale that a friend of mine asked me to go to at what is probably the oldest and longest surviving 7-1/4 inch gauge railroad in the country. The Ossipee Central Railway was probably built in the late 1950's. The owner recently died and the family wanted the railroad to be sold to someone in the same club that the owner once belonged to. My friend bought the whole railroad so he could have the 7-1/4" gauge speeder and trailer and he wants me to have the rest. The $6800 is beyond the normal budget of the Mill Brook Railroad, so I thought I'd ask your help in acquiring and moving the railroad. It is an 83 mile journey and I'll have to find sometime to help me move the roundhouse, the turntable lift and all the track. I can move the rolling stock myself.
I have started a Go Fund Me page if you'd like to help me save this railway.
