SYND 27 6 78 PRESIDENT BREZHNEV WARNS U.S. AND PRESENTS DECORATIONS

(25 Jun 1978) Soviet President Leonid Brezhnev warned the United States on Sunday (June 25th) that trying to play Peking off against Moscow was, what he called, a shortsighted and dangerous policy. Brezhnev was speaking in Minsk after presenting the city with awards for heroism during the second world war.
