✅ Step 1: Lat pull-downs.
✅ Step 1: Lat pull-downs. Build up your ground strength first
✅ Step 2: Supported pull-ups. Start getting to know the movement and how to work with your lats with help from your legs
✅ Step 3: Jump to eccentric hold. Keep the phase as slow as you possibly can. Make your lats WORK for it. Try to connect your lats to the exercise. Keep shoulders down
✅ Step 4: Assistant pull-ups. Your getting closer and come a long way already. Do NOT quit. This IS hard. No one said it was gonna be easy. Keep lowering phase long
✅ Step 6: Pull-ups. Keep shoulders down. Lifting straps can be really beneficial here! I’ve been doing these for many years and they are still demolishing me.
