There have been several judgements pronounced by the Calcutta High Court which have remained in the hearts of the people till date. Such likewise judgements have been made recently in the alleged recruitment irregularities in the School Service Commission. Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay’s single bench’s order for CBI probe in several cases has stirred up debates everywhere. His name is the most talked about in the court premises. SSC irregularity cases of Group C, Group D, Class9-10 teacher recruitment irregularities are under his vigilance in the court.
The single bench of Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay of the Calcutta High Court on Friday said that the daughter of Bengal minister Paresh Adhikari, Ankita’s job as a SSC teacher will not be accepted and will have to be expelled. The Court ruled that Ankita and all accused will not be allowed to enter the school until further notice. They will also have to return their salaries. They will pay back their salaries in two installments, the first one before June 7 and the next by July 7. The instructions were given by Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay.
Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay gave important instructions over allegations against former education minister Partha Chatterjee whose name has cropped up in the ongoing SSC scam. In the ongoing SSC scam, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay has instructed to include Partha Chatterjee in the case and also raised questions over his property.
