UK backpackers won't need 88 days of farm work in Australia, with changes to visas | The Drum

Australia’s farmers were hit by the labour shortage when the borders effectively shut during the pandemic.

Now under the new Free Trade Agreement with the UK backpackers won’t be required to work on farms for 88 days.

Instead, agricultural visas will be created with the UK and ASEAN countries. The Drum’s Stephanie Boltje explains.
