Indian Prime Minister Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party received nearly half of the political donations through electoral bonds over the past five years. The data released by the Election Commission late Thursday follows an order by the Supreme Court, which last month struck down the opaque political funding tool spearheaded by Modi’s government.
