Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons) often emphasize their belief in the Book of Mormon. However, members of the Church also believe in the Bible to be sacred text, just like the Book of Mormon. Both are regarded as companions in teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible was written in one part of the world and the Book of Mormon in another. But both are clear testaments of Jesus Christ.
