Join us for an exciting journey to the Special Museum at the Golestan Palace in Tehran, Iran. 🏛️🇮🇷 This one-of-a-kind museum, housed in the magnificent Salam (Coronation) Hall, provides an intriguing peek into the Qajar period's rich cultural history.🖼️🎨

The great architect Haj Abolhassan Memar Navai created the Salam Hall and associated pool house, which were built in 1291 AH/1253 SH under the patronage of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar. Navai's exceptional work, particularly the beautiful Mirror Hall, won him the renowned title of Sani al-Mulk, the court's main architect.🏰

During the second Pahlavi era, the structure was elegantly restored with rich stucco ornamentation, making it into the Special Museum. This museum exhibits an excellent collection of Qajar monarchs' antiques, including treasures inherited from previous times, presents from contemporary rulers and artists, and personal buys.🌟🖼️

The Special Museum, which reopened to the public on May 18, 2009, takes visitors on a thrilling trip through Iran's royal past. Each piece offers a narrative about the past, from extravagant jewels and exquisite artworks to historical artifacts.👑🫅🏻
