Dividends and Share Repurchase Agreements PPT Lecture

In this video we discuss dividend and share repurchase agreements.  We discuss the three major dividend payout theories: the dividend irrelevance theory, the bird in the hand theory, and the tax preference theory.  We discuss how dividend taxation has changed in the US during the twentieth century and how these changes have affected dividend payouts. We also discuss stock splits and share buybacks.
