Jaipong Rendeng Bojong Dance Performance at Festival Indonesia in Seoul 23 June 2024

"Réndéng Bojong dance was created by Gugum Gumbira (a prominent Jaipongan choreographer) in 1978 and prevalent among Sundanese people. The dance aims to restore the atmosphere of the social dance's warmth by presenting men and women as couples, representing the image of social dances. The dance shows a physical beauty of a woman (ronggéng) and the physical beauty of a man (pamogoran) which was united in a form of paired dancing, to represent the social interactions of the youth of Bandung City.

렌댕 보종 춤은 1978년 저명한 안무가인 구굼 굼비라 (Gugum Gumbira)에 의해 소개되었으며, 순다족사이에 널리 전해졌습니다.
이 춤은 사교춤을 그려내는 커플로서 남녀를 표현하므로써, 사교춤의 건전한 분위기 회복을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
이 춤은 남녀 커플로서 반둥(Bandung)도시 젊은이들의 사회적 상호관계를 나타내며, 남성의 육체적 미(Pamogoran)와 여성의 육체적 미(Ronggeng)를 묘사하고 있습니다."
