This video is of a lovely walk along the
Kennet & Avon Canal here in Wiltshire on a
cold frosty, foggy & sunny winter’s morning.

The section we walk along is called Caen Hill
near the town of Devizes & Caen Hill has 29 locks  in total & is has the second most locks in all of the Canal’s in England apparently.
We start our walk in cold frosty & foggy conditions  ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ but as  the video goes on, the fog starts to clear & the sun starts to shine & we end this lovely video in cold but sunny conditions  ❄️ 🌞 ❄️ 🌞 ❄️
on this winters morning.
Construction of the Kennet & Avon Canal started in 1790’s with the Caen Hill section being constructed in 1810.
This Canal runs from Reading to the City of Bath & then joins the River Avon then on to the City of Bristol.
The Kennet & Avon Canal is 87 miles long .

We even get to see some wildlife along the Canal inc.  a  donkey  😊
