We may wonder how a simple joke can be lethal. However, it is every day all across the world. Anne-Cécile Mailfert explains the butterfly effect these jokes trigger and the effects that they have on people, starting at a young age.
Spokesperson for Osez le Féminisme ! since 2013, already from when she was studying at Science Po Lille, Anne-Cécile Mailfert has been engaged in a fight for equality. Having gained her Master's degree first in class, she worked for four years as a volunteer at the heart of an association helping prostitutes with her meeting them on the job; an experience that gave her all the more authority in her fight for the abolition of prostitution and equality for women.
