Some time we lost the people whom we love the most. It’s the irony of fate. After losing that person every day we suffer. It’s learn us to live with regret. “Prakton” is the reflection of all of this. It’s a story of reality. In this film a girl and a boy love each other from their teenage . But the family didn’t accept their love And they force the Girl to get married. In that condition the girl wanted to elope but the boy didn’t agree this decision just For the honor of the family. Then the girl got married with another boy. Fate didn’t unite them. Maybe that’s the irony of fate. Many years later suddenly they met one day but their destination is totally different. That’s the reality.

কিছু সময় আমরা সেই মানুষদের হারিয়ে ফেলি যাদের আমরা সবচেয়ে বেশি ভালোবাসি। এটি ভাগ্যের বিড়ম্বনা। সেই ব্যক্তিকে হারানোর পরে আমরা প্রতিদিনই কষ্টে ভোগি এবং আফসোস নিয়ে বাঁচতে শিখি। "প্রাক্তন" হল এই সবকিছুর একটি প্রতিচ্ছবি। আমাদের সমাজের এটি একটি বাস্তব গল্প যেখানে পারিবারিক সমস্যার কারনে হারিয়ে ফেলতে হয় ভালোবাসার মানুষটিকে। এই ছবিতে একটি মেয়ে এবং একটি ছেলে তাদের কৈশোর থেকে একে অপরকে ভালবাসে। কিন্তু মেয়েটির পরিবার তাদের ভালবাসা গ্রহণ করতে অগ্রাহ্য করে এবং তারা জোর করে মেয়েটির বিয়ে অন্য কোথাও ঠিক করে। এই অবস্থায় মেয়েটি পালিয়ে যেতে চায় তবে ছেলেটি কেবল পরিবারের সম্মানের জন্য এই সিদ্ধান্তটি মেনে নেয় না। তারপর মেয়েটির অন্য ছেলের সাথে বিয়ে হয়ে যায়। ভাগ্য তাদের আর এক হতে দেয়নি। পরিবারের সম্মানের জন্য তারা তাদের ভালোবাসা উৎসর্গ করে ।সম্ভবত এটি ভাগ্যের বিড়ম্বনা। বহু বছর পরে হঠাৎ তাদের একদিন দেখা হয় তবে তাদের গন্তব্য ছিল সম্পূর্ণ আলাদা। এটিই হয়তো বাস্তবতা।
