TRAXXAS M41 SPEED BOAT. HOW FAST IS IT ?

So today i decided to take the M41 out to the puddle for a speed run on 6s. It has not rained for a few weeks properly in the Uk, for a change !!!, so the water level at the puddle has gone down quite a lot. This place is best in after a few days of rain. But anyway, i had come to the puddle so I wasn’t going until i had done a run with it and with the gps connected.

The batteries that i am using today were 2 x 3s Zeee batteries, 5200 MAH and 80C rating. I know that smaller and lighter batteries would be more suited for a speed run but i had bought these batteries for this boat with the view that i need run time as a priority for general use rather than for a speed run.

Just for a bit of info, when i first started using this boat, i used a low C rating battery. It may be the fact that its a low C rating or maybe the fact that its a cheaper end manufacturer of battery, but the C rating on my other batteries were 30c and 50c. The boat didnt seem to like them. When you pull full trigger the second shut off so you had to pull full trigger slowly and let the power build up slowly. However, with the new 80c batteries this does not happen, you pull full trigger and the boat shoots off as it should do 👍.

Anyways, i was happy with the result today considering i didnt really have a long enough length of water to build up the speed.
