Tajik Marriages Now Need A Seal Of Approval

Tajik couples are being ordered to meet with psychologists and lawyers ahead of marriage as part of a pilot project in the capital, Dushanbe, to lower domestic violence and divorce rates. The recommendations of these professionals can block a wedding application if a couple is deemed unsuitable.
