Classic Dutch Apple Pie from the Rijksmuseum Cookbook

Jonah Freud has a lifelong love story with cookbooks, so when the Rijksmuseum - the Dutch national museum of history and art - asked her to curate a cookbook to represent Dutch cuisine through art and history, she was elated. In this video, she presents a recipe from The Rijksmuseum Cookbook, a classic Dutch
apple pie (original recipe contributed by pastry chef Rudolph van Veen).
Freud has been running De Kookboekhandel, in Amsterdam, for 28 years. You'll find cookbooks on her bedside table, in her hand luggage, but never see her follow a recipe from just one book.
