A noted Pakistani stage artist and comedian, Ghiasuddin alias Shauki Khan was born in Lahore. The versatile actor acted in over a thousand plays. He had a special talent for parodies. He was acclaimed for his work in the Punjabi and Urdu stage shows. He was considered the best among the stand-up comedians and had fans all across the world. His friends and family remember him to be a sweet-natured, kind, lively, and very funny person. He died on Feb.22, 2003 in a road accident.
