Are the new atheists extreme? Are the new atheists bullies? And worse still, are the new atheists violent or are the new atheists dangerous? The answer to all of these questions, according to scholar of religion Reza Aslan, is "yes". Aslan believes that the truth about new atheists is dire indeed. But unfortunately for Aslan, Magic Skeptic is on the case. It turns out; lying about new atheism and atheists more generally, is something of a proclivity for Aslan. "Thinkers" like Aslan have turned the demonization of atheists into a cottage industry. They pose questions and write articles with titles like; is Bill Maher too extreme? Is The God Delusion extreme? Or is The God Delusion a dangerous work? Needless to say, the mere suggestion that Richard Dawkins is violent is utterly laughable.
