I used the wrong oil on the pivots. 2. I used white lithium grease. 3. I didn't clean and lubricate the mainsprings (this was deliberate as I didn't have the skills or tools to do so). 4. I didn't properly clean the pivot holes. 5. I used the wrong tool to remove the nuts. 6. I should have used slotted screws to be consistent with the era of the clock. I addressed each of these issues in this video. I'm sure I still didn't get everything perfect, but it's better to try again than not at all.
