Mercruiser 4.3lx with Holley carb

After fighting with the "new" edelbrock 1406 carburetor for weeks, I decided to take it off and put a Holley 4160 on there, at my brothers recommendation. It solved my carb problems, but not the other engine woes. What I found after installation did!
