Transformers in Japan introduced Metrotitan,
Transformers in Japan introduced Metrotitan, an evil Decepticon version of the Autobot City Metroplex. This toy came into the era of Micromasters and was a welcome addition to the Decepticon forces as so many more Autobot toys were being introduced. This version is a counterfeit “reissue” that comes in a Metroplex box, but Captain Kyle is checking out to see if you might want it in your collection.
Metrotitan was a Japanese exclusive recolor of G1 Metroplex and came with Metrodash, Metroshot, and Metrotank. The original also came with some Micromasters, but this “reissue” did not. In the Japanese cartoon, Metrotitan was built by the Autobots on Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, but defected to the Decepticons because they had cookies. Or whatever. This toy is a counterfeit reissue, but it is less expensive than an original. Captain Kyle checks it out to see if this might fill that Metrotitan-sized hole in your collection.
To get this toy, try eBay: https://ebay.us/N2N2DX (some listings show Metroplex but say it’s Metrotitan… if the pics show the box as Metroplex, that’s fine, but the toy should be shown as Metrotitan in his colors).
This toy is not manufactured by Hasbro or Takara-Tomy, therefore they will assume no liability regarding quality.
