Blue asks Holly J to the winter dance in a very romantic way. Only problem? Holly J thinks she might have a thing for her co-worker, Spinner. While Blue is a dreamboat, Spinner is a goofball. But somehow, that goofball is the only person who knows the truth about her and who accepts her for who she is. Some unwitting words of advice from Chantay convince Holly J she should follow her heart. But when past-Lakehurst student Chris walks into the Dot, pumped up and with a gun – everything changes. Can Holly J hold it together long enough to save their lives and talk Chris down? KC and Clare are still tense with each other, following Clare’s discovery of KC’s background, and it’s making life for the Niners difficult. Alli blames Connor and tells him it’s up to him to mend the situation. Can Connor get the gang back together, and maybe have some fun at the dance, too?
The eighth season of Degrassi: The Next Generation depicted the first semester of the 2007-2008 school year. This season depicts the lives of a group of high school freshmen, juniors, seniors, and college freshmen as they deal with some of the challenges and issues young adults face such as sex, sexual identity, drug use, financial troubles, child molestation, mental illness, cyber-bullying, sexism, hostage situations, careers and relationships.
