How To Add Stickers To iOS Text Message
In this quick tech how to video, I’m going to show you how to add stickers to your text messages inside iOS on an iPhone.
We’ll look at a couple different options. The first will be with the built in Memoji and Animoji stickers, and then we’ll look at a third-party sticker pack through the app store.
To get started, open Messages and head to the message thread you want to put a sticker on.
If the bar above your keyboard is blank, tap the app store icon on the left. This will bring up your message options.
First, we’ll add a default sticker. Tap the memoji icon from the menu bar. It will then bring up your memoji and Animoji options. Find one that you want to add, and then tap it. It will then add the sticker to your message, where you can then send it off.
Another thing we can do, is add a sticker on top of a message. To do this, again find the sticker you want to use, and then press and hold on it, and drag it to where you want to place it inside of the thread. It will then add the sticker to the message.
Now to add a sticker pack to your messages from the app store, just choose the app store icon from the menu. You can then search for a sticker pack you’d like to use and install it. I’ve downloaded the Mario Run stickers before, so we’ll use those.
Head back to the text message and scroll through the installed options until you find the sticker pack you want to use. Once you find it, again just tap it, find the sticker you want to use, and add it like before.
And finally, if you want to delete a sticker, just press and hold the sticker on your text, and then select sticker details.
You can then swipe left on the sticker and tap the trash can. It will then delete the sticker from your messages.
