Staying Over At Next House Copenhagen - Luxury Hostel
Next House Copenhagen is a luxury hostel offering great value accommodations in a convenient central location, in the heart of the city of Copenhagen, Denmark. In this episode we review our thoughts and feelings from two separate stays during April 2023.We had booked 2 rooms; a double and a 6-bed dorm, for an extended family trip of 7 people in total. Is the location and amazing low price worth compromising on sleeping space? The accommodations are one of the more unusual selling points of Next House, in almost capsule hotel like bunk beds, in either 4 or 6 bedroom dorms. You can book a single bed or book the entire room for your group.
They also offer a Double/Twin bedroom for groups of 2, which can be booked for a single occupancy.
Each room has a private bathroom, with the 6-bed rooms separating the shower and toilet rooms.
Inside the bunk, is a double power outlet, reading light and USB socket. Outside the bunk you get a separate storage locker (back pack / carry-on bag sized).
Towels and bed-linens are also provided inclusive in the nightly rate.
We booked directly through the next house website and added breakfast to our stay, which is served in Next EATERY. Its a buffet with coffee, herbal teas, juices, cereals, toast and panini presses for making grilled sandwiches, with ham, turkey and cheese slices available. They also serve hot potato wedges as they are a local hang-over cure!
The communal spaces at next house are warm, friendly and sociable with activities like shuffle board, fuse ball, darts, table tennis, beer pong (all for small charge to hire equipment) we found there were loads of activities going on around the hostel and we were offered a complimentary welcome drink in the bar upon arrival.
There’s also a fitness centre, Yoga studio, cinema room as well as a self catering kitchen, accessed for a small fee.
