The Fort Worth & Western is a class II railroad, operating on 276 miles of track across 8 counties, from Brownwood to Carrollton via Cresson and Fort Worth. The railroad interchanges with three class 1 railroads (BNSF, CPKC and Union Pacific). With the shortline customer driven, a variety of trains can be seen; primarily local jobs, as well as trains (or turns) with longer consists. In this 2 hour/39 minute video (or compilation), we will see a variety of FWWR trains throughout the years (from 2016 to 2024). As you will see in the video, although coverage of the railroad was sporadic from 2016 to 2020, filming of these trains increased from 2021 onward. There are a lot of changes that have taken place, most notable in the locomotive fleet. As time went on, the FWWR gensets disappeared from the roster. A few SD40-2's have disappeared as well, while the SD60M's have taken over. Filming locations span across an area from Fort Worth to Cresson, with one or two near Granbury and Cleburne. If you'd like to learn more about the railroad, or if you are seeking career opportunities with the Fort Worth & Western, please be sure to check out their website in the link below. www.fwwr.net/ WB Videos 2016-2024
