In a world with no World Guardian solving the problems of the people of Gielinor, the Kingdoms themselves have taken their places on the world stage to deal with any matter that would threaten them. With Sir Owen leading Asgarnia to new ventures, aiming to unite the world under one banner, the world is set ablaze as many kingdoms become entangled in the action, all with one common goal - to finally settle the differences between the many thrones of Gielinor.

'Thrones of Gielinor' is a 2 hour movie inspired by Game of Thrones, created by the help of 110 members of the Runescape community over the course of 500 hours.
Next to its successful launch, it was awarded 'Best Original Content' under the Golden Gnome Awards, RuneFest 2015.

The movie was premiered at Jagex on the 21st of August 2015.
