Common Coding Errors & Misinterpretations - Oncology Coding Break (January 2024)

We start by reviewing common disease site coding errors, histology changes, and grade coding complexities. We cover some of the most common lymphovascular invasion, staging procedures, and SSDI errors! Next, we jump into AJCC staging errors with a special focus on pN exceptions and the 4 disease patterns in lung cancer. We wrap things up with common treatment coding errors, with a special focus on hematopoietic treatment.
