Our family trip from Auckland to Cathedral Cove in Coromandel, to do the famous Cathedra Cove Walk. It is a New Zealand Must Do.

When you arrive at Hahei, there is not much parking close to Cathedral Cove, however, there is a park and ride facility in Hahei which was very handy.
The Cathedral Cove Walk from the car park at the Hahei Village Entry Carpark on the outskirts of Hahei beach is approximately a 1.15 hrs walk.
Fact about Cathedral Cove - Chronicles of Narnia filming location. The beach is beautiful, with crystal clear water and hardly any shells. Well worth the walk. It's simply a stunning beach location.
